This event gives students the opportunity to understand how to analyze the costs and benefits to the service line level. Students have the opportunity to allocate general and administrative costs for service lines in a number of different ways and are directed to the driver overhead in the allocation process. In addition, students should be challenged to discuss whether it even makes sense in this setting to select all of the general and administrative expenses.
