E-Procurement at Cathay Pacific Airways: e-Business Valuation Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In late 2001, CXeBuy electronic Cathay Pacific in procurement were in full for its headquarters in Hong Kong. 14-month implementation of projects aimed at the use of Internet technology to create the most efficient procurement process and opportunities in the industry. Although the project was far from complete, a member of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) query is actually achieved so far as a result of e-procurement implementation. Robert Lamoureux, Manager for e-procurement initiative, proposed PSC to develop a methodology that can be applied to the user departments on request, to assess the impact of their activities CXeBuy.
