Drilling South: Petrobras Evaluates Pecom, Spanish Version Case Solution
Petrobras' oil reserves would raise and increaseits existenceoutside Brazil, which is an important measure for the biggest business in Brazil. Because it's been badly impacted by the monetary crisis in Argentina Pecom is for sale. Pupils get the chance to evaluate the impact of a serious devaluation on an organization. There's also significant doubt about the best way to value Pecom, in establishing the proper discount rate to use in the valuation and pupils must consider the significance of nation risk. Ultimately, there isdoubt about Petrobras's own future as it has been commanded by the Brazilian government. The students are requested to overview the effectiveness of changes in corporate governance executed by Petrobras, despite the related political uncertainties of that association and its continuing connection to the Brazilian state.
