Over the last couple of years, many companies have taken steps to formalize innovative features to create a separate office of innovation and set the main innovations (CIO). It is interesting that this development coincides with the period of economic crisis, and may signal a growing recognition that the way forward innovations that will ultimately affect the state of the industry or the company's position in the long term.
