Alternate Hypothesis:

The number of days the employees’have taken the sick leaves, is dependent upon the number of Hours Company provided the education.

Appendix A of the document contains the results from the Excel analytical tool, in which the regression analysis has been performed. The significance level is 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.05 and provides strong statistical significant evidences to reject the null hypothesis and accept the alternate hypothesis, which concludes that the number of days on which the employees have taken sick leaves is dependent upon the number of hours the company provided the education. Moreover, the coefficients table represents the coefficients of each independent variable that reflects the relationship between thenumber of days the employees have taken the sick leaves and the number of hours the company provided the education. The negative value of the coefficient shows that a negative relationship exists between numbers of days the employees have taken sick leaves and the number of hours the company provided the education. Negative relationship shows that if the company provides an education to its employees, then the time will exceed by 1 hour, which will decrease the number of days the employees take the sick leaves by 0.073.

At last, the coefficient of determination (r2) is a measure to find variation in one variable against the variation in another. The value of r2 = 0.506 indicates that if variation will occur in one variable, which will allow around 51 percent change in other variables. It allows us to make an accurate estimate for number of days the employees have taken the sick leaves upon the number of Hours the company has provided them an education.

Correlation Analysis

Appendix B of the document shows the correlation matrix. This matrix represents negative 0.7112 value of correlation between the number of days the employeeshave taken sick leaves and the number of Hours the company has provided the education. The negative value of 0.7112 shows that a negative relationship exists between the number of days the employeeshave taken sick leaves and the number of hours the company provided them education.Whereas, the relationship value is around 71 percent, which shows thigh relationship between the number of days the employees have taken sick leaves and the number of hours the company provided them education, but this high relationship is in negative, which means if the company provides an education to its employees then the time will exceed by 1 hour, which will decrease the number of days the employees take sick leaves, by 0.073...............................
