An English Teacher in South Korea Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Bert took the position to teach English in South Korea after his business education in Canadian universities. It was his second time teaching English in South Korea, and since it was a fantastic experience for the first time, he took the second position, not making a lot of due diligence before arrival. Soon, however, he realized that the city tax is currently deducted from his salary, and he had a suspicion that his boss is the urban tax to deduct money from the salaries of teachers of English. With Bert visa to stay in the country was tied to his employer, he could not find a new employer could not effectively find going to court against his employer because the foreign teachers had few rights in South Korea.
