After an effective profession as a superintendent of a few of the country's biggest metropolitan school districts, Carol Johnson chose to finish a Fellowship at Harvard's Advanced Leadership Initiative (2014). There, she wanted to acquire viewpoint and understanding surrounding how brand-new superintendents of metropolitan school districts could be much better skilled and supported in this vibrant and tough function. Following her ALI Fellowship, Johnson developed the Leadership for America's Urban Schools (LAUS), a proposed program that would offer mentorship, training, and networking for brand-new metropolitan school leaders.
