Northern Forest (F): Policy Alternatives Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

The focus in this case on the political choice of an alternative to prevent the boom-and-bust behavior in North sawmill wood. Simulation analysis is also available for teachers to use to demonstrate the results of various policy alternatives. Landowners, sawmill owners, government officials, and environmentalists do not want to saw-demand "release" the productive capacity of forest resources, the problem is that the region has experienced about a century earlier.
