Taxi Role-Play Three Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Sold as a set, this role-playing series encourages students to clarify various points of view, when in leadership positions (UVA-OB-0921, 0922, and 0923). Before looking for solutions, students must have a clear, complete picture of the problem in hand. The use of "want-is-gap" model works well. The material gives the students the opportunity to develop the methods of persuasion. Exercise includes three roles: 1) executive with the Metropolitan Airports Commission in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport who must ensure that the taxi companies to maintain a high level of customer service, in the past, the Commission has received close to 4,800 complaints against taxi drivers who refused to transport passengers carrying alcohol, 2) One of the 900 taxi drivers are Somali Islamic mosque whose leader decided that it was against Islamic law to carry passengers with alcohol, 3) the passenger, who, after a long journey, just wants to go home with a few bottles of wine, but struggled to find a taxi driver who will take him or her home.
