Business schools and others interested in education management and development vigorously discussed how best to teach the strategy of future leaders. Some experts doubt that the subject should be taught at all - or, at least, whether it should be trained managers. Often missing in the debate, however, has been any in-depth discussion of how people learn to think strategically, in the first place. What specific experience is important, and how they contribute? Also, what are the different ways in which people absorb these experiences to develop the ability to think strategically? To answer these and other questions, conducts research, identified the leaders who were considered the top strategic thinkers in their fields. The study then examined the cumulative experience (educational, work related, or other), which contributed to the high capacity of these individuals. In addition, studies have investigated various ways in which managers have acquired their skills in strategic thinking - a process that usually took more than ten years. The data showed that there is strategic thinking of the 10 specific types of expertise - for example, a major initiative led by growth or dealing with a threat to the survival of the organization. In addition, the leaders appear to gain knowledge in the field of strategic thinking by one of three models of development.
