Strategic Entrepreneurship in Emerging Market Multinationals: Marco Polo Marine Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Marco Polo Marine (MPM) Ltd is the average Singaporean shipping company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, participating in regional shipping and shipbuilding. The company was part of a larger group of Indonesian family business, and was built from scratch, General Manager, the successor groups. MPM began with the provision of barges for transportation of minerals and sand, initially for the mining operations of the group, but more on third parties. She subsequently entered the shipbuilding industry by creating a shipyard in Batam, Indonesia, an island off Singapore.
