Managing Insight Velocity: The Design of Problem Solving Meetings Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Insight rate measures the rate at which the meeting participants to increase their understanding of the problem and its possible solutions. Problem-solving meeting information processing systems are influenced rational and social forces. Traditional skills of the meeting and information technology, in the form of technology, provide designers with the means of meeting the gain and damping of these social forces to improve meetings. For each stage of the meeting, the article describes a three-stage model of information processing (create, evaluate and treat). Meeting of the design consists of two activities: the division meeting in the sequence of steps of information processing and decision making, which causes increase or decrease in each phase. Meeting design is based on the repeated application of this three-stage model for understanding the maintenance of speed.
