If Lawrence Trinh pursue his desire to work in Vietnam - and, if so, what set of principles and practices must take if he is faced with corruption? These are issues that are reflected for many students who want to work in emerging markets and other contexts that create tough ethical questions. Trinh seeks to combine its expertise in the financial services industry, with its desire to contribute to the economic development of Vietnam, and he has to decide between the four job offers from investment firms. But this is a tough decision. First, none of the jobs fit his criteria perfectly. Second, despite the growing reform, Vietnam still holds poorly on indices of corruption.
