Economic Factors

            This is also a major factor that contributes in health disparities among the population. The buying power of the individual has been always a key component in health disparity. People belong from different economic backgrounds and societies; it is not necessary for every individual to take the hygienic food due to the limited purchasing power. Especially people living in the developing countries have limited options for enjoying a higher quality of food rather than developed countries.

Cultural Factor

            This is also a key factor that contributes in health disparities among the people. People belong from different regions prefer the food as per their culture. For instance, some population enjoys having a junk food; some prefer nutritious and healthy food. These factors can also contribute in health disparity if the quality of the food is questionable. Several patients, who suffer from diabetes and hypertension, take the spicy food and sweet dishes as per their interest and cultural values, which causes a significant increase in the diseases.
