Habitat for Humanity London: The Challenge of Growth Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In early 2009, the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity London (HFHL), based in London, Ontario, was faced with the responsibility to determine how to increase revenue for nonprofit organizations. Organization provided safe, decent and affordable housing for those in need, and the board has pledged to build 12 units in 2012. Funding usually recover from the organization, however, revenues have started to level off in previous years. The Executive Director of evaluating several options to generate additional income. After consideration of the application HFHL cash flow and 10 years of restoration proceeds, Executive Director identified three options to increase revenue: relocation recovery to improve and increase the inventory, improving their rescue and / or running a program car sales.
