Bimbo Group and Papalote Museo del Nino Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In the early 1990s, the Mexican Grupo Bimbo has been a leader in the food industry of the world, working in 16 countries. In November 1993 the museum Papalote Children (Papalote Museo del Niño) was set up in Mexico City. This organization of civil society should contribute to the intellectual and emotional development of children through interactive and educational games and experiments. Soon after its establishment, the museum entered into a cooperation agreement with Bimbo, and the company has agreed to sponsor several exhibitions in exchange for brand exposure on museum premises. In the end, both parties will jointly develop new activities, such as the Public School sponsorship programs that cover the cost of attendance of children from poor families in the Papalote Children's Museum.
