This study describes as eloquently as it can, the combined efforts made by the Loita Group and ADC in order  obtain shares in Nile Commercial Bank (NCB) – the number one banking icon in South Sudan thereby participate in the development of South Sudan as an independent, commodity-rich state.

The case discusses whether or not Loita and ADC should invest in NCB. The real world result of the case is Loita and ADC ’s ultimate investment in the bank, as clarified in the chapter “Restructuring the bank, as it occurs in real time in September 2011 ” which summarizes the investment.
