BetterLiving Patio Rooms Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

BetterLiving Patio Rooms Case Solution

John Esler, the CEO and creator of Patio Rooms of America, founded this new enterprise several months after graduating from Babson's one-year MBA program. Esler had significant entrepreneurial expertise that included founding and building a chain of Subway sandwich shops, before studying for his MBA. He used the profits to fund his studies and to underwrite the startup of his new enterprise and sold his chain of shops before entering the MBA program. Six months into the new enterprise, John is experiencing a host of difficulties: the business's sales orders are outstripping the speed at which crews can build patio rooms; his operating cash flow deficit is growing; he's to conclude serious disagreements with his licensor, who's also his exclusive provider of materials; and he's control and human resource issues that desperately need attention.

This is just an excerpt. This case is about INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP
