Wikipedia: Project Esperanza Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In October 2006, Wikipedia was the largest volunteer run an online encyclopedia that can be easily read and edited by anyone with access to the Internet. For nearly six years of its founding in 2001, the project has attracted hundreds of thousands of editors who have written more than 1.2 million articles in English only. Nearly 10 percent of worldwide Internet users access to Wikipedia at least once a month. Just as Wales had to retire, editor community gathers reviews to decide whether to close the informal association of editors of Wikipedia called Esperanza. Some editors Wikipedia, including some of the most prolific them, really enjoyed the program.
