Tropos Networks Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

As Ron Szego, president and CEO of the network Tropos, walked through the halls of our offices, he realized that the place they moved in just over a year ago, has become too small. The company, based in Sunnyvale, California, was founded in late 2000 to provide wireless broadband access. By 2005, the company was primarily focused on the delivery of citywide Wireless Fidelity (Wi Fi) mesh network products and services. Tropos products began shipping in September 2003, and by December 2005 the company had more than 300 customers and 60 resellers in 29 countries.
