The methodical integrated management of intellectual property (IP) is a recent phenomenon. This in fact is despite the fact that intellectual property has been around for numerous centuries. Today, issues are fairly more complicated, and integrated IP management is required.
By incorporated IP management we intend not only that various types of intellectual property (patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyright) is managed collectively, but that intellectual property management is in turn integrated with entire business model design as well as corporate strategy. Incorporated direction producing a product that comprises new invention, or is more than simply establishing a licensing model.
