Samasource: Give Work Not Aid Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Samasource sought to use the work, not aid for economic development. The company has signed contracts for digital services to large companies in the United States and Europe, divided the work into smaller pieces (called microwork), and then sent their delivery centers in the developing regions of the world, to complete the web-based interface. Unlike traditional business process outsourcing companies, Samasource relied on marginalized populations of employees to perform work.
