Kelley Jo Snyder disappeared Easter Sunday in Clinton County. Saturday night, Kelley Jo Snyder’s husband admitted to hiding her body. Then, he admitted to reporting her disappearance and even faking a ransom letter. William Snyder sits inside the Clinton County Correctional Facility charged of abuse of a dead body and tampering with evidence.

Now, people in Renovo say all they can do is wait to see if the body discovered is Kelley Jo.

“They were nice neighbors,” said Richard Marr, the Snyder’s neighbor. “They got along well. They were always good to kids.”

Richard Marr lives next to the Snyders on Fourth Street in Renovo and said he taken aback when police blamed William Snyder of being involved in his wife’s disappearance.

“After I heard it was my next door neighbor, it scared us, because we have children in the house,” Marr notified.

In court papers, police said William Snyder admitted to taking Kelley Jo’s body from their home to a district location south of Renovo. This is after he helped lead the assistance to find his wife and talked to Newswatch 16 last Tuesday.
