In 2009, ParticipACTION Toronto not-for-profit organization that was a legendary story to inspire and maintain an active and healthy life for Canadians. Under the leadership of CEO Kelly Murumets, ParticipACTION was to lead a steering committee of representatives from the not-for-profit sector and the private sector, and academia, to develop a set of how-to "guidance for not-for-profit organization of sports and physical activities for the formation of effective partnerships with the private sector.
