Jamie Turner at MLI, Inc. Case Study Solution

MLI, a fighting regional distributor of industrial lighting systems and equipment based in Chicago, has recently been obtained by a division of the much larger San Diego-based Specialty Support Services (Triple S). Cardullo, the president of MLI, is the primary proponent of the Triple S acquisition, and he has told Turner to resurrect MLI, suggesting that if Turner triumphs he will soon advance to business president.

It becomes apparent, nevertheless, that Turner and Cardullo have very different assumptions and expectations about turning MLI around. The case describes Turner’s developing difficulties and his unsuccessful attempts to solve them, and also the passing through several managerial challenges of Cardullo.
