Health Care Reform: 2009-2010 Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Comprehensive health insurance reform has been long-standing goals of the Democratic Party. Although reforms persistently fails, reform advocates have seen a new window of opportunity after the 2008 presidential election. Barack Obama campaigned on the promise of reform, and was elected by the largest margin of victory for any Democrat in decades. In Congress, Democrats held a large majority in the House of Representatives (257 out of 435 seats) and the Senate (58 out of 100 seats, and two independent who caucused with the Democrats.)
