GE Money Bank: The M-Budget Card Initiative Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

M-Budget Card case study about the development of the problem of search of a strategic initiative in the context of marked time pressure and frequent changes. M-Budget was the first of a number of very successful projects that created GE Money Bank as the leader in the Swiss credit card market. The business concept was to work with the country's leading retail MIGROS develop innovative credit card offers, M-Budget Card. M-Budget Card was launched just six months later and was an instant success. Demand for hotel exceeded expectations by far, and the bank was flooded with more than 100,000 applications in the first week. The path to a successful launch of the market, however, was a rocky one and the team around Pierre had to master numerous challenges. Pierre, who took the lead in this initiative were to choose the right people to make a team that had all the knowledge and experience necessary to develop a completely new market shares.
