Franchisor Strategy and Firm Performance: Making the most of Strategic Resource Investments Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Key solution for businesses, many retail and service firms, is whether and how to use the franchise. If the decision of the franchise, the actor may be one of the two "identities" or tactics: (1) "chain builder", which uses a mixture of company and franchised outlets, and (2) the "turn-key", which sells a business opportunity, but not owned outlets.
