Dylan Pierce at Hanguk Industries Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Hanguk industries are a Korean multinational that has been facilitating foreigners. The US country manager of the company, Peter Lee, is facing a problem from its one of the key employee, Dylan Pierce who want to resign. Dylan was appointed by Peter to work in Hanguk’s U.S facility and after his efforts, he showed in his tenure of 18 months, promoted to the company’s HQ, situated in Seoul, where he has to work for Peter’s former boss.

However, Dylan flourished at the California office, but at HQ owes to conservative culture he soon runs afoul. While the feedback from the boss to Dylan that he has to be less “girly” to succeed here and that made him angered, confused, and humiliated and ultimately Dylan requested the resignation. Now Peter has to respond.
