The case describes a situation in which the vice-president of CAT-medium size company manufacturer and distributor of household appliances, mainly to meet the price-sensitive rural areas. The company operates two medium objects in a remote area in Vidarbha. Production of A-CAT units were in operation since 1986. -CIO made a wide range of electrical appliances including TV signal boosters, Transformers, FM-radio kits, electronic ballasts, battery chargers, and voltage regulators.
