Competitive Dynamics: Competition as Action-Response Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This note provides a guide for the study of inter-firm competition through binary lenses and predict competitive responses using information-motivation-opportunity perspective, to enhance understanding and management strategists competitive battles on the most basic level. Competitive dynamics is the analysis of competitive action and response levels to predict how the company will act or react against opponents. Understanding the battles at this level is significant because it is where companies make their strategies, test their opponents' character and capabilities, to protect his reputation, and to demonstrate its strength - that is, where the business rivalry going on.
