Coalition of Essential Schools Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In May 2000, Hudi Podolsky as Executive Director of the Coalition of basic schools (CES), and must act quickly. CES was one of the first educational institutions on a broad reform of the implementation of some basic principles of education in primary and secondary schools in the United States. The main problem was that traditional funding sources (primarily funds) were less willing to support the CES. Podolsky needed to identify new and sustainable fundraising strategy and asked the Stanford Alumni Consulting Team (ACT), to help. This case is told from the point of view of ACT, which allows a deeper examination of the organizational issues and opportunities, and the ability to turn Podolsky CES around.
