Student team project should recommend a company or not to buy its largest competitor in the agricultural sector of salmon, and if so, on what the maximum price. The case does not provide enough information for the students to solve the case, instead, students should think about the data and analysis they need to answer the question of its customers. This case emphasizes the development of a strategic objective for the analysis and decision making, as well as a preliminary analysis and planning necessary for effective and efficient data collection. Case provides an opportunity to focus on secondary sources of data and introduces students to the resources available through the university library.
