Acumen Fund is a global venture capital firm with a dual purpose: he is looking for a return on their investment, and it is also seeking business solutions to global poverty. This case is considering new projects in Kenya, Acumen. Investment Organizations Committee and its chief investment officer, Brian Trelstad, must decide whether to fund two-for-profit enterprise. The first provides a clean and walk-in shower and toilet in the urban areas, serving a critical need low income - its financial situation, however, is less clear.
